YOU are the future of our company. We’ll rely on you to provide support to our teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table. You’ll work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining exposure to project coordination, relevant computer-assisted engineering software, data collection and so much more. You’ll provide support to the roadway, structures and traffic engineering group on highway design projects for clients such as state, county and municipal transportation agencies.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program 
  • Must be at least a rising Junior 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software 
  • Ability to perform field investigations and verify/evaluate existing roadway conditions
  • Ability to manage and achieve scheduled milestones, budget constraints and quality benchmarks on assigned projects and tasks.

Ideally, you’ll also have: 

  • 3.0 GPA  
  • An interest in Transportation
  • Working knowledge of Bentley MicroStation and Geopak or OpenRoads
  • A previous internship related to your field of study 
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
  • Ability to proactively collaborate with and learn from other Transportation disciplines such as drainage, structures, traffic, environmental, and program management.  
  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills
